Your name and location (entered during the quiz — used only to personalize your bucket list)
Your answers to quiz questions (what matters to you, your life stage, categories of interest)
Your email address (if you choose to save your list or subscribe to our newsletter)

Information collected automatically:

Basic analytics data such as pages visited, time on site, and general location (country/region level only)
Browser type and device type for technical compatibility purposes

We do not collect payment information, government IDs, or any sensitive personal data.

How We Store Your Data

Your bucket list is stored in your browser's local storage by default — meaning it stays on your device and we don't have access to it unless you choose to share it with us via email capture.

If you provide your email address, it is stored securely with our email service provider (MailerLite). We do not store email addresses on our own servers.

Quiz answers used to generate your list are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce your personalized results. Anthropic's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. Ever.

We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

MailerLite — our email service provider, used to send newsletters and saved lists
Anthropic — your quiz answers are sent to generate your AI bucket list
Netlify — our hosting provider, which processes web traffic
Unsplash — images for your bucket list items are fetched from their API
Legal requirements — if required by law, regulation, or court order

All third-party providers we use are required to handle your data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Cookies and Tracking

We use minimal tracking. We may use analytics tools (such as visitor tracking) to understand aggregate usage patterns — how many people visit, which pages are popular, and where visitors come from geographically. This data is anonymised and cannot be used to identify you personally.

We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
